Anthony Sumter Jr. " Tony ",

Anthony Sumter Jr. “Tony” was raised in Durham, North Carolina.

Tony received a Bachelor’s in Science of Landscape Architecture from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University  in Greensboro, NC, and  received his Masters in Public Administration at North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC.

While receiving his Masters degree, Tony received a Non-Profit Certification in Faith-based and Philanthropic Entrepreneurship. Professionally, Tony has gained experience within the Landscape profession, Local Government and North Carolina State Government.

 

His dedication is generated by the theology of Sustainability and what it looks like to implement this idea for abstained people and communities of the general public. This vision justifies Tony’s professional experience of Residential Landscape Design, Mobility, Property Inequality, and the community impacts of Gentrification and Land-Usage.

It also influence to begin a landscape design build service referral agency which became Sum Sustainables.
